David's Viola Gets Electrified!

Cesura's ultimate goal is to join the crossover music genre between classical and electronic.

Cesura has undergone the first steps in reaching that goal; David has electrifyied his classical viola to retain as much sound quality as possible while allowing it to be hooked up to an amplifier. Mandolin barrel extenders are used to modify a violin transducer to fit the viola.

Also, Cesura is currently commissioning a work from local composer Robert Hanshaw that will utilize their electrified instruments' new capabilities.
